Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 October 2026

This policy applies to "consumer health data" as defined by Washington's My Health My Data Act, Nevada Senate Bill 370 and the Connecticut Data Privacy Act, and by similar state laws. It covers people who live in those states and data collected in those states. It supplements our International Privacy Policy. MySafeCard is operated by Artha Tech Solutions, Hyderabad, India ("we", "us").

1. Consumer health data we collect

We collect only the health information that you, or someone who creates a card for you, choose to enter on a MySafeCard emergency card:

We do not collect biometric or genetic data, and we do not infer health conditions from other information. Location data collected when someone scans a card (see Section 7 of our Privacy Policy) is never used to work out whether anyone has sought healthcare. We do not set up geofences around healthcare facilities.

2. Why we collect and use it

We do not use consumer health data for advertising, profiling, research or training artificial-intelligence models.

3. Where it comes from

Directly from you, or from a parent, guardian, family member or caregiver who creates or manages a card for you.

4. Whom we share it with

We do not sell consumer health data.

5. Your consent

Before you save a card, we ask for two separate consents: one to collect the consumer health data you enter, and one to share it by making the card viewable to anyone with its link or QR code. You can withdraw either consent at any time by removing the health information from your card or deleting the card in the app, or by emailing us.

6. Your rights

To make a request, email support@mysafecard.in with the subject line "Consumer Health Data Request" from the email address on your account. You can also edit your cards yourself in the app at any time, and ask for a card to be deleted from the app (Delete on the card). We will check that the request comes from you and respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we may extend this once by a further 45 days and will tell you why. Requests are free up to twice in any 12-month period.

Appeals. If we refuse your request, reply with the subject line "Appeal" within a reasonable time. We will tell you the outcome in writing, with our reasons, within 45 days. If you disagree with the outcome, you can complain to your state Attorney General:

7. Security

Access to consumer health data is limited to our administrator, and only for the purposes in Section 2. The data is encrypted in transit and at rest. If unsecured health information is accessed or disclosed without authorisation, we will notify you as the law requires.
