How do emergency responders use MySafeCard?

Emergency responders — ambulance crews, traffic police, doctors, or bystanders — simply tap the NFC card with any Android phone or scan the QR code with any camera. Your emergency ID opens instantly in their browser, in their preferred language. No app download and no login are needed, making emergency response faster and more effective.

Does MySafeCard work as an NFC tag?

Yes. The physical MySafeCard contains an embedded NFC tag (NFC chip) that any NFC-enabled phone can read. Just tap the NFC card to your phone and your emergency profile opens immediately. The same card also has a printed QR code for phones without NFC — like iPhones and feature phones.

Does MySafeCard work without internet or if my phone is off?

The card itself needs no battery, no app, and no internet — it's a passive NFC chip and a printed QR code. The responder's phone needs a working internet connection to load your profile page after the tap or scan, the same as opening any website. If your own phone is dead, that's fine — MySafeCard is read with the responder's phone, not yours.

How is MySafeCard different from a medical alert bracelet or dog tag?

A medical alert bracelet or engraved tag can only show a few words — usually just a blood group or one condition. MySafeCard fits a full emergency profile — blood group, allergies, multiple medical conditions, and emergency contacts with one-tap calling — behind a single NFC tap or QR scan, and you can update it anytime without buying a new bracelet or tag.

Is my medical data safe and private on MySafeCard?

Yes. You choose which fields appear on your public emergency profile — nothing is shown that you haven't added. Your login email, password, and account details are never exposed to anyone who taps or scans your card. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How long does delivery take for the physical NFC card?

Once your card is printed, it is dispatched within 3–5 business days and shipped free across India. Delivery time after that depends on your location and the courier. Your digital card and QR link work immediately — before the physical card even ships.

What if I lose my MySafeCard?

Your emergency profile lives in your MySafeCard account, not just on the physical card. If you lose the card, sign in to your account to get your digital QR link again, or order a replacement physical card — your saved medical information isn't lost.

Can I create cards for family members I'm responsible for?

Yes. From one account, add a card for a parent, child, or anyone else you look after, and tag how each person relates to you. All their cards stay organized in your single dashboard — no separate account needed for each family member.

Can the same NFC tag be reused for a different profile?

What does ICE mean?

ICE stands for In Case of Emergency. It usually refers to emergency contact details — on a phone, a bracelet, or a card — that responders or bystanders can use to reach someone on your behalf. MySafeCard extends this into a full digital medical ID: emergency contacts alongside your blood group, allergies, and medical conditions, all behind one NFC tap or QR scan.

What information should an emergency medical ID contain?

Most emergency medical IDs include blood group, known allergies, ongoing medical conditions, current medications, and at least one emergency contact. MySafeCard also supports BP & sugar readings and insurance details, so responders and hospital staff have more than the bare minimum to work with.
